Dr P.A.IBRAHIM HAJI (1943-2021)

Dr P.A.Ibrahim Haji was a philanthropist and a renowned Indian businessman. He held business including educational institutions in India and the Middle East. Dr P.A.Ibrahim Haji hails from pallikere, a town in Kasargod District of Kerala, India. Born to Abdulla, a textile merchant and Aysha, he did his schooling in the Government fisheries High school, Bekal. His higher studies, P.U.C., was in the Government college, Vidyanagar, Kasargod. He started his college education with B.Sc in the Government College, Mangalore and completed it with a Diploma in Automobile Engineering and Business Management from Madras (Chennai). His career took off in Dubai in 1967 as a salesman in the spare-parts division of Austin (British Motors Corporation). Later, he joined Galadari Automobiles (Mazda Distributors) as spare-parts manager in 1972. He continued his stint in Muscat with Al Hashar Automobiles (Nissan Distributors) as Manager, Spare Parts Division. By 1974 he had saved enough to start a small business of garments and cosmetics in Dubai. In 1976 he started a joint-venture namely Century Trading Co.LLC, which is a part of ALShamali Group of companies (UAE). Dr. brahim's philosophy of life is to treat everyone with dignity and one must judge people by their honesty, loyalty and sincerity. Ask him about his business mantra, comes the reply, “ There is no substitute to hard work'' According to him, “ You have to earn credibility. Once you do that, Your credibility will spread by word of mouth. That's the biggest investment in business Losing a loved one is undeniably, a grief- stricken and devastating moment. Although according to Qur'an 2: 156, that a soul belongs to Allah and will return to Him in time, still it is a painful moment seeing our loved one passed away.

PACE Education Group was founded in the year 1999 by Dr.P.A Ibrahim Haji, by forming a trust, namely, P.AEducational Trust. The first venture was P.A College of Engineering in Manglore with four branches of engineering with a strength of 240 students.Today, the Campus has 2.61 million sqft land and has 6 branches of Engineering, 4 branches in M.Tec, 5 branches in research programs and 5 branches in diploma Engineering. We propose to have many more modern educational institutions in view of the high demand from parents and the respect and reputation our institutions have gained over the years. We deliver high standards of education, yet we have nominal fee structures which benefit the medium and lower income groups.We have1200 teaching staff, above 500 non teaching staff and over 20,000 students from 25 nationalities.
